How To Get From Yerevan To Vanadzor
There are 4 ways to get from Yerevan to Vanadzor, and each option has a different time range suitable for everyone. See the options below:
- From Yerevan to Vanadzor by Minibus (more than 2 hours)
- From Yerevan to Vanadzor by Taxi (around 2 hours)
- From Yerevan to Vanadzor by Train (around 4 hours)

Minibus to Vanadzor
Vanadzor is approximately 128 kilometers (79 miles) from Yerevan. One of the cheapest ways to get there is to take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) from Central Bus Station, also known as Kilikia Bus Station.
The minibusses 403 and 404 to Vanadzor depart from Yerevan daily from 8:45 AM to 7:30 PM. The price per person is 1000 AMD ($2).

The Yerevan to Vanadzor train route is part of the main Yerevan to Tbilisi train route. Train numbers 371 and 372 to Tbilisi depart from Sasuntsi David Train Station and stop at the central train Station in Vanadzor. Taking the train to Vanadzor from Yerevan is the longest option of all of the options. The ride will take approximately 4 hours.
